set 5-2 tourmaline
Tourmaline's chemical structure is (Na,Ca)(Li,Mg,Al)3(Al,Fe,Mn)6(BO3)3(Si6O18)(OH)4. It comes in a wide range of colors.
set 4-18 amethyst
Mohs' hardness of 7. SiO2 with [FeO4]4- giving it its rich purple color. Hexagonal in crystal structure.
set 4-15 orthoclase
Orthoclase feldspar is a potassium aluminium silicate. It also comes in the the more rare translucent moonstone variety.
set 4-14 peridot
Peridot is the gemstone variety of Olivin. It is one of the few gemstones which exist only in one color: green. Its chemical formula is iron-magnesium-silicate. The intensity of its green color depends on the amount of iron. Peridot is not especially hard – only achieves about 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs' scale, but makes a great gemstone especially since its bright green color is maintained even in artificial light.
set 4-12 beryl
Beryl is beryllium aluminium silicate. Pure Beryl is colourless, but its hexagonal structure can integrate metals such as iron, manganese, chromium, or vanadium. Integration of manganese confers Morganite's pink color.
set 4-10 garnet
Rhodolite is a mix of iron-rich deep red Almandine and fiery red Pyrope. It's color is halfway between the two and appears reddish-purple. It is among the more expensive of the red garnets.

set 3-7 garnet
Garnets come in red, red-brown, orange, yellow, green, black, and purple. Uvarovite is the green variety.

set 3-1 ruby
Ruby is a variety of corundum (9 on the Mohs hardness scale). It's chemical formula is Al2O3 and gets is deep rich color from trace chromium.
